What services do you provide?
Music’s Technologies offers variety of computer related services. We offer everything from hardware to software related services. Examples would include computer repairs, upgrades, computer training, etc. We suggest visiting 'Our Services’ page for detailed information.

What computer platforms do you support?
We support all computers, both desktops and laptops, running Microsoft Windows operating system.

Do you support and service the Mac platform?
Currently we do not offer any support or services for Mac platforms. We would love to do so if someone is interested in donating MacBook to us so we could broad our knowledge. We will offer free support for donator.

How do I request services from Music’s Technologies?
Requesting services is easy. Simply click on Contact Us page and choose what the most convenient way is for you to request our services. If you are not sure what kind of service you need, give us a call and we will help you in choosing what is best for you.

How fast can I get a service?
Usually within couple of hours and many time instantaneously.

How long will it take to resolve my problem?
For on-site services, most of the problems could be resolved within an hour or two. It truly depends upon a problem. If it is going to take longer than hour or two, we generally suggest off-site services as it is going to cost you less. As for off-site services, it usually takes 24-36 hours from the moment we receive a system.

Is there anything I need to bring when I drop off my computer for service?
If you are bringing in a laptop for a service, remember both your power cable and the system discs that came with the computer. For service of a desktop PC, just bring your system discs along. You can also arrange pick-up and we will collect all the necessary stuff.

What do I do if I need parts?
Music’s Technologies does not carry computer parts. However, when part is needed for your repair or upgrade we will gladly assist you in purchasing one or with your consent, we would purchase one for you.

Do you sell hardware and/or software?
We do not sell either hardware or software, but when the time comes, we would gladly provide you with assistance in purchasing your new hardware or software.

 

How much should I expect to pay for a service?
Our on-site services starts at $30.00 per hour regardless of your problem. If our services will require more than one hour, we do recommend off-site services as that is $75.00 flat regardless of your problem. We suggest you to contact us first for a free estimate, which would allow us to determine the nature of the problem, approximate time it will take to fix it, and the cost involved.

Are there any costs involved prior to any of our services?
The only cost involved prior to any of our services is traveling fee of $15.00 or more and that is only if you live outside of the coverage area (check here). We suggest you to call us for a free estimate prior to requesting any of our services.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, and Credit Cards (CrediCard payments are to be made using PayPal).

If the minimum charge is one hour, what happens if the repair takes less than one hour?
The minimum charge helps us cover travel time to and from your home or office. Before coming out, we like to talk you through some simple troubleshooting techniques. Often, simple problems can be fixed over the phone in a few minutes, and without charge.

Is there a Guarantee/Warranty on the service?
Yes, there is a 100% Satisfaction guarantee on the services we provide. Should a problem re-occur, we will return to further diagnose the problem at no cost to you. The guarantee/warranty does not apply to return trips required due to the failure of a customer provided part.

What do you do when you come across a task outside of your area of expertise?
Everybody comes across the problem outside of their expertise or across the issue, they know very little about. We do so as well, and we will also tell you so. We are not going to waste your time or try to charge you for something we know very little about. We will even recommend our competition if we think they may resolve particular solution better than we may. Our philosophy is to be honest with our clients. If a client still wants to use our services, in this particular situation, we will negotiate a lower rate.

Should we call you for help with computers that are still under warranty?
It depends. If you are comfortable getting in touch with manufacturer on your own and spending few hours troubleshooting your problem, you should pursue that avenue. On the other hand, we can do all that stuff for you. We can troubleshoot your problem, without voiding your computer warranty, and then we will do all the talking with a manufacturer.

I do not know anything about computers. How can you help me learn quickly?
We will give you, what is known as a ‘crash’ course in computers. We will explain you windows environment and show you how to use common programs. Once you learn common things, it is up to you to decide what you want to learn next.

Where do you conduct the training?
We prefer your place as we think it is best for you to learn using your own computer.
